ラットに仲間が報酬をもらうのを見せたとき、はじめは嬉しげな行動をするし、じっさい線条体でドパミンが放出されるのだけれども、そのうち放出量が下がってきて、(文字通り)抗議の声を上げて(Ultrasonic vocalization)そちらを見もしなくなる、という話です。齧歯類でもここまでできる。
